Dr. Jessica Jefferis

Jessica joined S Dental Studio in 2018 and feels privileged to be part of such a warm, friendly and supportive team. She enjoys welcoming patients into the practice and helping them feel (if not relaxed exactly!) listened to and well cared for. Committed to lifelong learning, Jessica completed a Master's degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of Birmingham, graduating with Distinction in 2024. She continues to develop her skills through postgraduate education and is an active member of both the Protrusive Dental community and the Hybrid Layer. Jessica enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in restorative dentistry, biomimetic techniques, removable prosthodontics (dentures) and dental extractions. She enjoys the challenge of diagnosing dental pain and believes in treating the whole mouth rather than focusing on individual teeth, helping patients regain confidence in their smile and enjoy comfortable, healthy function. Known for her calm, approachable manner, Jessica takes time to listen, explain treatment clearly and work in partnership with each patient. She believes that excellent dentistry combines technical skill with genuine care, attention to detail and outstanding customer service, allowing every patient to feel relaxed, informed and confident throughout their treatment. Jessica qualified from Manchester Dental School in 2001 and has over 25 years' experience in general dentistry. During her career she has worked in practices across the North West, Bristol and Oxford, alongside roles with Mercy Ships, emergency dental clinics, Bristol Dental Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi. She was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2005, and the breadth of these experiences has shaped her thoughtful, patient-centred approach to dentistry. For Jessica, dentistry is much more than a job – it is a vocation centred on caring for people. When she's not at S Dental Studio, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two energetic sons. As a family, they belong to the church family at St Ebbe's Headington, and love exploring the beautiful surroundings of nearby Shotover Country Park. GDC No. 79318
